Established in 1980 by Carmine Votino, C.V. Tool Company has grown to become a premier machine shop which specializes in CNC Milling and Turning as well as precision Grinding and Jig Bore work. We produce hardware for the steam turbine, nuclear, space and paper industries as well as one of a kind fixturing and ground support equipment for the aircraft industry. We are also qualified to do our own welding including MIG, TIG, and wire feed welding.
Precision
Our current manual equipment allows for up to 90 inch turning capacity. Our CNC Milling department can handle up to 7 cubic feet, while our CNC Lathes and VTL departments can handle parts that are up to 74 inches in diameter. Our 25,000 square foot Southington, CT facility machines materials such as Inconell, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Aluminum and mild steels. Our Fitchburg, MA facility, which specializes in the manufacturing of packing rings for the steam turbine industry, houses a large inventory of Bronze, Niresist and Stainless Steel and can deliver emergency ring requirements within 24 hours.
Quality
C.V. Tool Company’s certified quality control department is AS9100-REVB AND ISO 9001:2000 approved and registered through Intertek and utilizes Six Sigma methodologies. It is through these programs that we are able to produce a wide range of precision crafted parts to meet and exceed our customer’s most exacting needs.
